       “Who Controls our MInd?”

Written by Kiran GIll                  2018
As Rachel Holmes said, “ We Let technology into our lives. And now it’s starting to control us.” We  humans took over this world and now we are letting ourselves to be taken over by technology. People have become so dependent on technology that they forget about the real world. People are more likely to spend time on their phones searching through social media and staring at the Tv, rather than spending time with their families. Technology is reshaping our world. Technology is indoctrinating our minds. Whatever information we see on social media, we tend to believe it without questioning it. So consumed by technology, humans have forgotten to even take care of themselves. People would rather spend time on their social media over considering their health, thus leading to numerous health risks. Why are we allowing technology to control our mind when we have taken over the world with our own Mind??

“How we are keeping away from prejudice in 2018”

Written by Kiran Gill

Living in the world of 2018, we are allowed to raise our voices against what we feel is wrong. This is allowed through freedom of speech. Whenever prejudice exists we voice against it. THese days social media, radio stations, and news spreads the acts of prejudice fast and people are exposed to the cruel behaviour of some citizens. Compared to the past prejudice has declined with our “fight against prejudice.”  However despite us fighting against prejudice, it will perhaps never completely vanish. There will always be people committing acts of prejudice. THe one way we can lessen the number of people commiting prejudice is by raising awareness and reporting whenever prejudice is seen.
